The now-arrival of the Steamer with the October Mail leads to the inference that the vessel has been unable to make her way up the China Sea against the North-cast monsoon, and therefore put back to Singapore. The Senior Naval Officer has accordingly detached the Mail from
a
Brig of war to convey
hence to Singapore, where the Steamer
will, most probably await its arrival.
In the mean while Sam without Your Lordship's Despatches of October,
and shall
receive them
: possibly not receive before those of November : The Right Honorable,
